Opera Software continues to work to improve its functions “Video Pop-Out” and “Snapshot” (to take screenshots).
In the latest version of the browser – Opera 83 – the company has automated “Video Pop-Out” for all users. In practice, if users switch to another tab while playing a video, it is displayed in the mini-window (always resizable). When you return to the original card, the video reopens in its original size.
For those who want to deactivate this mode, here is a short guide:
- Start the Opera browser;
- Click the Opera menu icon and select Settings;
- Click Advanced, scroll to down until you see Videos;
- Enable / disable the option “Automatically publish videos when possible”;
- Click the check mark when the changes are complete.
As for “Snapshot”, however, a meme generator has been added in order to make the function more fun to use.
