If until a few years ago it was necessary to spend a considerable amount to have in hand a terminal that could combine the best of design, with respectable technical specifications. Thanks to different brands, such as Honor, today the mid-range have practically taken over, because they are able to offer pleasant smartphones, both from an aesthetic point of view and from that of functionality. Honor View 10 Lite perfectly embodies the concept: it has everything, it lacks nothing, and it costs relatively little.
Aesthetics
From an aesthetic point of view it might seem the exact copy of many other mid-range, yet if you pay attention to something different you will find it: it is the terminal with the best optimized frames in this price range. Other rival competitors from Huawei, such as P20 Lite, P Smart and the like, also have slightly more pronounced bezels, especially on the lower part. It is a 6.5 inch, but strangely enough it holds up really well in the hand and in everyday life it can be used without worries, also thanks to the software optimizations, which allow you to make the interface smaller.
Very minimal and clean on the front, to break the harmony there is now the usual notch, which the user has become accustomed to for some time. It is small in size, does not obstruct the view and does not spoil the symmetry of the lines of the smartphone. The rear choice is also very particular, where the material used is glass, with a section that enjoys a rougher pattern, where the camera department insists.
Technical characteristics
Under the box Honor View 10 Lite mounts a Kirin 719 processor, flanked by a Mali G51 GPU, with a memory of 64 or 128 GB, depending on the chosen model. A rich set of sensors, which in addition to the classic fingerprint sensor on the back, also includes the presence of an accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer. On the front there is also a small notification LED, while on the lower part it has a MicroUSB port. We cannot remain silent that at the end of 2018 we regret the absence of a USB C.

Presented in Italy on 2 October 2018 is the equivalent of Honor 8X in China.
The launch price for the 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM version will be 269 Euros while the version with 4GB RAM AND 128GB ROM will be 299 €.

As already mentioned, the display is the real protagonist of this terminal. This is a 6.5-inch unit, with FullHD + resolution and a well-established aspect ratio of 19.5: 9. It doesn't excel like other high-end displays, but it looks good. Not too bright, it still works well even in sunlight, thanks to the outdoor mode. Overall, thanks to its size and the body-screen ratio, it can be used well. 
Daily use
Honor View 10 Lite is not a top of the range, but only those who have previously tested mobile phones from 700/1000 euros will notice. It is responsive, it is used well, it does not seem to stumble in everyday use, even when subjected to stress. navigation, and not even in the use of all those apps that have now become essential in daily use, such as those for messaging and emails.
The only aspect that did not fully convince us, right from the first use, is the audio department. The sound that comes out of the speaker seems tending to cold tones, not very full-bodied, deep and not at all enveloping. Attention, however, these are only nuances: the audio is still sufficient, but comparing it with higher-end devices, the difference is evident. 
Cameras
There is a double photographic module on the rear body. To be precise, Honor View 10 Lite mounts a 20 MP sensor with aperture f. 1/8 and one second 2 MP with F 2.4 aperture, thanks to which it is possible to achieve depth of field detection, then take portrait photos with bokeh effect. On the front, selfie lovers will be happy, thanks to a 16 MP camera with an F. 2.0 aperture.
Considering the price range, lower than Euro 300, Honor View 10 Lite takes excellent photos. Especially in daylight, where it manages to capture natural colors, and a good amount of detail. Also from this point of view, the mid-range, with this terminal, makes a big leap forward: the device allows you to take excellent photos. A little less in the dark, but this is a problem shared by most smartphones, even the higher-end ones.
Autonomy
From this point of view Honor View 10 Lite is an absolute champion. On paper, the 3750 mAh might seem too few considering that space would not be lacking, but the screen where the 8 hours of lit screen stand out is enough to reward it from all points of view and silence any doubts. Even in the case of particularly intense use, it will not be able to download, on average, before a day and a half.
Software
EMUI 8.2 does its job. We seem to have reservations regarding the themes present in the appropriate section, but we can only rejoice in the presence of the iPhone X-style gestures. In fact, it is possible to eliminate the keys on the screen and navigate the UI through gestures . They work very well and clear the large display of any virtual buttons.
Conclusions
On Amazon it is available for about 270 euros in its top configuration, with 128 GB built-in memory. Available in blue color (the red should arrive shortly), it is one of the best smartphones in this price range, dedicated above all to a young and dynamic audience that does not want to spend too much, but at the same time does not want to give up anything. . If we eliminate the detail of the audio, not too full-bodied, we have nothing else to criticize this device.
