Huawei's smartphone business has come under a lot of pressure due to the trade ban in the US, but the company hasn't given up and a preview of the upcoming P50 series was leaked earlier this year.
We now have a date too! Huawei today announced a July 29 flagship product conference on Weibo, with consumer group CEO Richard Yu confirming the event will see the debut of the P50 series.
The P50 teaser image suggests the presence of a thick photographic sensor, probably an IMX800. The only real certainty at this point is that the new phones will lack integration with Google, due to US sanctions.
