Huawei will sell its Honor brand

The Chinese technology company Huawei has announced that it will sell Honor, the brand created in 2013 through which it sold low- and mid-range smartphones. Shenzhen Zhixin New Information Technology, a newly created Chinese consortium with several ties to the country's government, will acquire and control the brand. Huawei said the decision was made due to the difficulties that Honor devices (which use Huawei technology) had in being updated and functioning at their best, as a result of the sanctions decided in the United States against Huawei. At the moment it is not known how much the Honor brand will be sold.
