The entry of Iliad into the fiber market, which has long been a certainty awaiting only an official date, could lead to one jolt much larger than expected. Repubblica reports in fact that Vodafone and Tim would not have any intention of watching.
The first move should be up to Iliad, but just as in the mobile market the response of the two well-known operators came through their sub-brands, the same could happen on the fixed network, where ho-Mobile and Kena would be preparing the (counter) offensive.
If history has any lessons, the arrival of Iliad has done good to the mobile segment, especially to consumers, who have not only enjoyed more choice (in Germany, France and the USA there are now only three operators, while in Italy there are still four) but also for better offers .
