The music stand for tablets that everyone should have. It is PadPillow, a pillow by Ipevo that we have tried in recent weeks and which we have fallen madly in love with as it has made our moments of leisure and relaxation at home even more pleasant.
We like it because it's basically super easy to use, comfortable and really practical. It can be used with any tablet, smartphone and e-reader on the market and has a pocket that can accommodate remote control and magazines, making it the ideal companion on the sofa. It allows us to hold the tablet tilted over the legs or on the stomach without the slightest effort and there is also the possibility of using it in “typing” mode accompanying it to a keyboard, thus making the use of the 2-in-1 more comfortable. in an armchair.
How it's made
The interior is made of a material similar to foam in terms of compactness but is much more rigid. The outer covering is instead in denim, a fabric similar to jeans: thanks to a zipper hidden on the back it is possible to remove the padding and wash the outer cover (also in the washing machine). In our opinion the seams are also really excellent, deep and apparently capable of resisting tearing.
The particular shape allows you to keep the tablet (or e-reader) tilted which will simply lock through a very robust slot : it is an ingenious and minimally invasive system, which allows you to lock the device and regardless of its thickness (it could potentially hold even an open book, up to 3cm thick).
It is substantially composed of two parts: a more bulky one, a sort of right prism, connected to a wider rectangular base on which it rests, guaranteeing better stability of the support. when we place it on a table or even better on the legs or stomach.

These two parts can be “separated” to transform the base into a support surface for a keyboard, be it the iPad Smart Keyboard or any external Bluetooth keyboard. In this way the tablet can rest on the “back” and at the same time have a stable system to be able to type a text and keep the tablet on the legs well stabilized. This is perhaps the main advantage of this support, because it allows us to use the tablet in places such as the armchair at home, the deckchair in the garden or the seat on the plane without having to rely on a table or other bulky support.
Conclusions
The Ipevo PadPillow has now become an extension of our devices. Not having the need to type long texts with the tablet, we mainly use it to watch videos on YouTube and read books on the Kindle: in both cases it has literally changed our lives, leaving us to immediately abandon any other type of support used up to that point. moment, at least when we use the devices in moments of rest at home. If you own a tablet or e-reader there is no single reason not to buy it.
