Connected Wifi and Bluetooth 4.0, the Koogeek BP2 blood pressure monitor becomes an intelligent and powerful health monitoring tool in just a few taps.
The monitor can simply show the average of five consecutive readings, uses Texas Instruments' CC2541 Bluetooth chip, resulting in stable connectivity and maximum data security. The Koogeek app stores data for up to 16 different users: all data can be exported and sent to your doctor, but also can be entered within the Health app, with which the Koogeek application is compatible and integrated. The lithium battery supports approximately 50 continuous measurements and can be powered via a Micro-USB port.
The LCD display measures 2.2 inches: its width and that of the font that is used to show the measurements offer a pleasant reading experience for all users. Systolic and diabolic blood pressure and heart rate are displayed in large characters.
The device is compatible with iPhones and iPads running iOS 8.0 or later and Android 4.3 or later.
How does it work
Starting from the first measurement, using Koogeek BP2 is very simple. First of all, you need to install the Koogeek application on your iPad or iPhone, or on your Android device. Once you have registered, you can connect the blood pressure monitor to your device with a few taps (just activate wifi and bluetooth and add the blood pressure monitor between the devices controlled with the Koogeek app). You can then proceed with the measurement, as you do with all blood pressure monitors. Once the measurement is finished, the device switches off after about 15 seconds automatically. The data will be immediately seen on the meter display and can also be read and consulted on your iPhone or iPad. When Koogeek BP2 is discharged, the batteries must be recharged using the Micro USB cable available in the package.
Weight and dimensions
In terms of weight and dimensions, the blood pressure monitor is not among the smallest, but not even the most bulky: it is 15 cm long, 7.5 cm wide and 8.5 cm thick. It weighs about 3 ounces. If kept in its original packaging it can be carried with a backpack very easily and fits into the most capacious women's bags. There are no envelopes or other containers supplied to make transport easier, but certainly transporting it in its package does not risk compromising the instrument in any way.
