There are many rumors that suggest the arrival of a new tablet suite and a new premium smartphone from Xiaomi. Until now, the company has remained silent on a possible launch date, but now it looks like the devices could arrive before the end of the month.
Xiaomi announced an event chaired by company founder Lei Jun on August 10 at 7:30 PM CST (7:30 PM ET). The event will cover Xiaomi's recent “good news” and focus on June's “10 hardest choices” over the company's existence.
According to Weibo leaker Bald Panda, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 and Mi Pad 5 devices will debut at the event. Although there is little evidence to confirm this claim, it is clear that we are heading for an imminent launch. The alleged Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 series was recently captured by several certification agencies, suggesting a launch just around the corner.
