Anyone who frequently reads our pages knows that normally we don't often take care of reviewing cases. Almost always, if not always, in fact it is enough to simply make a schematic and synthetic evaluation of the solidity in relation to the price, the two fundamental parameters of the most common cases, those built in China and then rebranded, without too much attention to the style or quality of the materials. which are always substantially identical. On some occasions, however, it happens that there are companies that abandon the traced groove and focus on two factors: materials and design, very little frequented by those who focus on quantity such as, in fact, the Chinese or American companies that rely on Asian factories for build what they sell in volumes on international e-commerce sites.
One of these companies that “thinks differently”, it is appropriate to say given the context in which we write, is the very Italian Modì, a reality we have had the opportunity to talk about on other occasions, since it was called Mbcases and was specialized in cases. One of Modì's top products is the Business Case for iPhone X, an accessory that we already tried last year, when we tested the version for iPhone 7. Of that model, the Modì Business Case for iPhone X imports practically everything: the selected leather, the craftsmanship, the carefully chosen colors, the perfection of the measurements. The version we had the opportunity to try was sandal brown for the outside and blue suede for the inside with blue stitching, to match. In fact, the Italian company allows you to create a completely original case, choosing from a series of different colors of the leather and seams. We counted 18 for the outside and 15 for the inside.
The Modì Business Case
The case is liner style. The Business Case also has a small external pocket that the Classic (another Modì product) does not have. The pocket can be used as needed, for a document, a credit card or a couple of banknotes. Being tight, it cannot be used for headphones.
As we have already seen on other occasions, the iPhone fits very precisely into the Modì Business Case. The suede interior, combined with the ultra-smooth surface of the all-glass iPhone X, produces an excellent non-slip effect. In practice it is almost impossible to lose the iPhone and you must also make some effort to extract it using the appropriate tab. During the first uses, the force to be produced may even seem excessive, but after a couple of days the leather will loosen and the operation will become simple.
The design is very linear and minimal. Modì Business Case does not indulge in particular stylistic affectations, relying, as we have already said above, on materials and colors to stand out from the crowd. The result from the point of view of appearance is a very essential product that accompanies iPhone X and like, a bit like Apple devices, to be functionally effective and cared for in detail without wanting to hit the imagination with excess at any cost.
The lack of “jokes and jokes”, the linearity of the profile and the choice of materials make the Modì Business Case hardly perceptible in thickness. Even when placed in the case, the phone remains slim and handy and can be easily placed in a pocket. The case itself, both for the stitching and for the use of quality leather, increases the grip on the phone, otherwise a little slippery.
Excellent, for the type of case, the protective effect. The leather, thick and abundant on the seams, eliminates any bump problems in the bag or in the event of an accidental fall, for example, from the car seat. Modì makes it known that the front is reinforced and slightly padded for the protection of the display. Obviously, this is not a case that was created to prevent the iPhone from being damaged in the event of a fall from a table or if you were to throw the phone out of the window by some accident, but for common use it is a case. which effectively carries out its task.

In conclusion
The judgment on Busine ss Case for iPhone X can only be the same that we have already expressed in the past for the Business Case for iPhone 7 and even before for the products of MBCases. We are not dealing with a functionally “special” product, something built with special technological materials or that offers an extension to the use of the iPhone, but it does everything that is needed: it protects the iPhone, keeps it protected from accidental bumps and scratches. In this it would not be different from other cases that are on the market. But unlike its common competitors, it adds to all this craftsmanship and high quality materials, as well as the ability to customize colors.
The Business Case for iPhone X for all this is a ideal product to give or treat yourself. Those who receive it will have in their hands a minimal object that immediately appears of high quality, demonstrating the good taste of those who present it as a gift and of those who use it, distinguishing themselves from what is usually seen around. All this at a very affordable price. The Business Case for iPhone X costs 35 euros, the price of a mid-level case produced in series. The same model is available for all other Apple phones.
