Motorola has quietly launched a new mid-range smartphone called the Moto G60S. The device is similar to the Moto G60 in some areas, but it comes with faster charging and a different processor.
Like its big brother, the new Moto G60s sports a 6.8-inch FHD + LCD display with an impressive 120Hz refresh rate. Instead of the G60's Snapdragon 732G, however, the Moto G60S features MediaTek's “game-centric” Helio G95 chipset. Motorola has paired the 12nm processor with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
In the camera department, Motorola's latest Moto G series device features a four-camera setup with a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra wide-angle lens, a 5MP macro lens, and a depth sensor. 2 MP. For selfies, it has a 16MP camera.
The Moto G60S packs a large 5,000mAh battery with support for 50W fast charging. Motorola claims that you can get up to 12 hours of battery life from 12 minutes of charging. The new Motorola-branded smartphone is currently listed on Motorola's Brazilian website for R $ 2,499 (about $ 479). While there is no news on international availability yet, the phone is likely to make its way into other markets in the near future to challenge competitors.
