In recent years, we have witnessed the emergence of several “digital banks”, completely manageable by smartphones: among these, we certainly find N26 , which is preparing to introduce a new cryptocurrency theme.
In fact, in the APK of the latest version of the app, screenshots have been found showing the possibility of buying cryptocurrencies directly from the N26 app , therefore without going through external services. In the screenshots in question, you can see how N26 will warn the user of the high risk of operations (since the value of a cryptocurrency can go up or down a lot in a short time).
This function is not currently available (the last screen reads “we will let you know when it is available for you” ): in any case, we do not yet know which types of cryptocurrencies will be manageable by N26 , nor when this possibility will actually arrive for users.
