Netflix has started to raise the prices of its plans in some European countries. The company will increase the subscription up to 2 euros more , reaching up to 17.99 euros per month in the highest plan.
At the moment, Netflix maintains plans in Spain with the usual prices, which range from 7.99 euros for the base model, to 15.99 euros for the most complete package. The price increase, however, could arrive in the coming weeks and would increase 1 and 2 euros plus the current plans.
In France it is already beginning to apply to new customers. Existing subscribers will see a higher charge in the next installment. Specifically, the basic plan will have an increase of 1 euro. It will cost 8.99 euros (before 7.99 euros). It includes, remember, the possibility of watching Netflix on a single screen, as well as downloads on a device. The standard modality will cost 13.49 euros (before 11.99 euros). It maintains the advantages of the standard plan, also adding support for two screens and downloads on two devices, as well as support for HD content.
Netflix's superior plan , called “High quality”, will cost 17.99 euros (before 15.99 euros). This includes the ability to view and download content on 4 devices, as well as the rest of the advantages of the other plans and compatibility with Ultra HD content.
Price increase, but no news on Netflix subscriptions

There is no news that details this price increase, since the same advantages are maintained. Netflix, for its part, has justified its fees on several occasions, claiming that the content catalog is increasingly complete . “When we make changes to plans or prices, we always do so with the aim of improving the Netflix experience and investing in quality content for our subscribers around the world,” the company details on its website.
In Spain, the last time that Netflix increased the price of its plans was in 2019. The company went from charging 10.99 euros per month in the standard plan to go up to 11.99, while the package with Ultra HD content went from 13.99 euros to 15.99 euros.
