Netflix's 'Cuphead' animated series already has a release date and a new trailer

A few months ago we were able to take a first look at The Cuphead Show!, the series based on the acclaimed video game developed by Studio MDHR and which was released at the end of 2017. Netflix announced, in mid-2019 , who was working on a series based on it, and although a few months ago they gave us a small taste of the new production, today they have finally decided to show the full trailer for The Cuphead Show! along with its official release date.

Netflix has announced that The Cuphead Show! It will be released next February 18 on its platform, according to the Engadget portal. For its part, the production will maintain the characteristic and striking artistic style based on the animations of the 30s, although taking advantage of current animation technology. In this way, promise to offer us a visual delight in the adaptation of the stories of Cuphead and his brother Mugman to the small screen.

Despite the fact that the series was announced several years ago, Netflix has not offered too many details about the plot that our beloved protagonists will follow. However, in the new trailer for The Cuphead Show! we can see both characters enter the CarnEvil amusement park, where they will play until they almost lose their souls. Later we see them face off against King Dice, the Devil and some other characters like the Teapot Elder, Ms. Chalice and many others.

The Cuphead Show! will have a season of 12 episodes that will be available from next February 18 exclusively on Netflix. Each episode, for its part, will have an estimated duration of 12 minutes, during which time we can enjoy the performances of Tru Valentino (Psychonauts 2) as Cuphead and Frank Todaro (Jojo's Bizarre Adventure) as Mugman. Wayne Brady will star as King Dice, Gray Griffin (Batman: Arkham Knight) as Ms. Chalice, Joe Hanna (Dishonored 2) as the Teapot Elder, and Luke Millington-Drake as the Devil.
