The Sony WF-C500 earbuds were announced by the Japanese company as its new entry-level model to compete in the fast-paced market for wireless headphones.
These headphones arrive to replace the Sony WF-XB700 , keeping their oval case with translucent cover. However, the new model presents a number of important differences compared to its predecessor, including a reduction in cost and improved autonomy .
Sony claims that the battery life has been increased from 9 to 10 hours of constant use, and from 18 to 20 hours if you include recharging through the carrying case. In addition, they have opted for a more compact and conservative design for the WF-C500.

They are also compatible with the fast connection functions of Android and Windows, to avoid juggling every time you want to use the Bluetooth of a different device.
Like the previous model, the Sony WF-C500 are IPX4 certified for resistance to water and sweat.
The price of the Sony WF-C500 has dropped from $ 129 (cost of the WF-XB700) to $ 99.99 dollars / euros . They can now be pre-ordered on Amazon Spain —they are delivered from October 1— in any of its four colors: white, orange, black and green.
