Those who have paid accounts on the streaming platform will be able to listen to the complete song through Spotify, but without leaving Facebook. Users with free accounts will enjoy a similar experience, but adding random content and with ads .

But Spotify playback from Facebook will not be limited to songs or podcast episodes shared on our home page, or that of our friends. “Fans will also be able to play songs on the mini player from posts by selected verified artists, or even from user-uploaded videos on Facebook containing licensed music,” they announced.

How to activate the Spotify mini player on Facebook?

The first time the mini player is used, Spotify will open a consent box in which you must click “Connect”.
