Characteristics
Oclean Air is part of the category of sonic electric toothbrushes, popularized by the Philips Sonicare line, to date the best known brand, which is opposed to the rotating head one, represented mostly by the Oral-B series by Braun.
The package contains the toothbrush, a head, and the magnetic USB base for charging. Does not include the USB adapter to connect the magnetic base to a power outlet, you will need to purchase it separately or recycle one already available at home.
Aesthetically, the design is very pleasant: completely white, with a smooth and tapered body, with only the touch-sensitive button on the front, equipped with a bright LED circle useful for signaling, for example, when the device is on, when it is charging or when you have just connected to the app.

Like all sonic toothbrushes, Oclean Air is also able to guarantee oral hygiene through the very high number of vibrations per minute, which, in addition to mechanically removing plaque, generate a liquid vortex against teeth and gums, increasing the depth of cleaning.
Oclean Air is equipped with a powerful magnetic levitation motor, which ensures 40,000 vibrations per minute to guarantee a deep brushing in the two (or more) minutes during which we should brush both dental arches after meals.
From the technological point of view we are talking about a product comparable to an entry level Philips Sonicare, which at the same price stops at about 31000 vibrations per minute but does not include many other smart features included with Oclean Air.
Functionality and effectiveness
Thanks to Artificial Intelligence, the Oclean Air system recognizes the pressure exerted by the user: if the brush is pushed too hard on the teeth, the motors automatically slow down the brushing until it stops in case of excessive pressure. The system is thus able to avoid bleeding gums, removal of enamel and other damage, thus making it an excellent product even for a child or for those with more sensitive teeth and gums.
Oclean Air is also waterproof, with IPX7 certification – therefore fully protected against the effects of immersion for 30 minutes at a depth of 1 meter. You can conveniently rinse it off after each use under running water, or it can also be used in the shower, great for saving time when you wake up late and need to escape to work.
In our tests, the toothbrush seemed effective and able to clean effectively and precisely. We found the results very good and the cleansing sensation persistent and real.
Perhaps the writer would have preferred a head with slightly stiffer bristles, but perhaps this is due to the habit of using brushes with a rotating head, which use mechanical movements to perform cleaning; however, these are personal preferences that do not undermine the quality of the action of Oclean Air, certainly perfect for those with sensitive teeth and gums.
Application
Oclean Air can also be connected via Bluetooth connection to the smartphone and thanks to the paired app (available in Android and iOS version) it allows you to select the cleaning program concerned and follow it day by day by measuring progress through the data collected by the system. .
It is possible to select the cleaning program among 20 predefined programs, follow a tutorial based on the conditions and characteristics of your mouth to be suggested the most suitable program or create a totally personalized one, alternating three different modes: cleaning, whitening and massage.

Once the program has been set, it will be possible to use it during the washing sessions: the cleaning phases will be signaled by a specific vibration every 30 seconds, which will suggest when to move on to the next quadrant of the mouth or to the next cleaning mode, again according to the plan selected.
The application will also collect all the cleaning statistics and it will be possible to consult the progress every day and evaluate the effectiveness of your oral hygiene, calculated by the application in cents depending on the movements made while using the toothbrush.
Autonomy
The Oclean Air electric toothbrush is also an excellent solution in terms of travel thanks to its 800 mAh battery: the autonomy is 30 days with a common use: it is probably one of the toothbrushes with greater autonomy available on the market, also considering the very low weight, only 95 grams.

If you use it with different brushes for the whole family, you can take the charging base with you, very compact and easy to use thanks to the magnetic coupling: it will only take two hours to fully charge.
It will always be the application that signals the need to refill as well as the need to replace the heads when excessively worn.
Conclusion
Oclean Air is an excellent product: the performances are more than good and the cleaning sensation very solid. The application is able to make a difference and set the most suitable cleaning plan for each type of mouth, subject to different needs from person to person.
The battery has an excellent autonomy: 30 days of operation make Oclean Air perfect even for those who travel a lot, who will not always have to carry the charger.
Last but not least, the value for money: at the moment it is in fact possible to buy the Oclean Air toothbrush directly on GearBest for only 33 euros .
Also worth mentioning is the very low price of the replacement heads: at the moment two replacement heads cost only 4 euros , the price is much lower than the prices of the Philips Sonicare counterparts, which can cost around 15 or 16 euros for the pack of two heads.
Oclean Air is therefore confirmed as an excellent product, both for your mouth and for your wallet.
