Being a supersonic toothbrush, Oclean Z1 boasts a maximum of 40,000 vibrations per second , performances that do not differ much from those of the two Air and X models. pure performance there are no big differences with the “brand cousins”. As already mentioned, we can compare the power to that of an entry level Philips Sonicare equivalent, such as the 4300 and 4500 models.
Do not miss the now tested 6-axis gyroscope responsible for recording all movements and pressure applied to the toothbrush during each cleaning session and essential for collecting statistics accessible via app.
What makes the difference are the functions: the presence of a physical button in this case is very useful considering that it is possible to choose the brushing intensity among the 3 available by simply holding down the button.
There is no touch screen that characterizes the X model but honestly we have not felt the lack at all, especially considering that – as we had told in our review – the aforementioned touch turns out to be anything but irresistible, not very reliable and of questionable usefulness.
Ultimately, the solution of Oclean Z1 is better, which gets rid of a touch screen far from being indispensable to prefer a simpler and more effective solution by entrusting the commands to a physical key.

As already mentioned in the past, overall the application is quite good, easy to use and complete with daily statistics, which will allow you to understand if you are making good use of your Oclean Z1 and if you are taking care of your teeth correctly.
However, there are some defects, such as an interface that can still be improved due to some localization errors (such as the presence of written in Spanish mixed with Italian).
In terms of autonomy, Oclean Z1 uses an 800 mAh battery that can guarantee about a month of use with two / three cleaning sessions per day, and which takes about two hours for a full charge.
