In the last period, however, it is more and more frequent not to have a “fixed” workplace , given that you can work in the office or from home: for this reason Google has announced that on Calendar you can specify where you are working on a specific day . This information will be visible only to users who can see the availability: to add the place, in the same section that allows you to choose the working hours, just select an item among Office , House , Not specified or Other position , which allows you to choose a place to your liking.
Starting today, system administrators will be able to activate or deactivate this feature, which will be active by default starting August 30 . These are the types of accounts that will be able to take advantage of the feature: Google Workspace Business Standard, Business Plus, Enterprise Standard, Enterprise Plus, Education Plus and Nonprofits, G Suite Business.
