Home Hi-Tech Android World ,,,,, It is useless to deny it, whether it is a top of the range, or a cheaper device, all smartphones nowadays clash with the problem of autonomy. Oukitel tries to focus on this aspect, thinking well to put a 6080 mAh battery inside the K6000 Plus. Easy to understand what is the strong point of this terminal.
Aesthetics
The huge battery, of course, immediately adds to the weight of this device, which amounts to just under 200 grams. Yes, not a featherweight, but it is the obvious consequence of a particularly powerful battery. The dimensions, on the other hand, are the standard ones of a 5.5-inch phablet, contained in 76.6 x 155 x 9.6mm. In short, it is difficult to keep it in your trouser pocket without feeling its heaviness, but after all, those who need a range well above the average, will have to accept a compromise with the weight factor. Aesthetically, the terminal is not particularly original, and resumes a bit the shapes of the Meizu Notes, with a large central oval key, under which the fingerprint sensor is positioned. Standard USB on the underside, while the headphone jack is located on the opposite side at the top. The position of the volume rocker is classic, just above the power key, while the dual SIM trolley is located on the left edge.
Although not aesthetically original, the front of the terminal is rather clean and minimal, with a well-made screen, IPS, with Full HD resolution. Good color rendering, very bright, with a wide viewing angle, which still manages to satisfy, also due to the classic MiraVision configurations, which allow you to set some parameters, such as saturation, sharpness, contrast and others, to better adapt to your tastes the performance of the panel. In any case, even with the standard configuration, the 5.5-inch unit is quite satisfactory.
Technical features
In terms of technical characteristics, the terminal under test mounts a Mediatek MT6750T processor, octa core, with a Mali T-860 to support it, along with 4 GB of RAM. This is not a top configuration, but the terminal is always fluid and responsive, allowing you to fully enjoy the experience offered by Google.
The fingerprint sensor is not among the worst, but neither does it offer that appreciable reliability in Huawei terminals of the same price range. Good conversations, with a clean capsule audio, sufficient hands-free audio, without any problem with regard to reception.
It certainly cannot be compared to higher-end terminals, but after all, those who buy Oukitel K6000 Pro will not do it for its technical characteristics, nor for the display or for the camera, but for its battery. It is on this, then, that it will be better to dwell more.
Battery
The 6080 mAh on paper is really a lot, but the concern of battery drain, when it comes to Chinese Android smartphones, not very optimized, is always around the corner. The danger, at least during our tests, was averted. With a particularly intense use, which focused above all on very long and repeated WhatsApp sessions, we were able to complete almost the second day of use, reaching over 5 and a half hours of access screen, when the battery still marked 19% of residual charge. This means that Oukitel K6000 Plus does what it has to: improve autonomy compared to any other smartphone on the market.
Moreover, thanks to the Super Charger 12V / 2A charger, it will be possible to fully recharge it from 0% to 100% in just 100 minutes. These are the declarations of the seller, who to tell the truth do not differ particularly from reality. In repeated tests, in fact, we were really able to charge the battery in less than two hours. This is certainly a valuable result, for a smartphone that boasts a 6080 mAh battery.
The talk about the battery, however, does not end here: Oukitel K600o Plus turns, when needed, into an external battery, capable of recharging iPhone, or any other Android terminal. This is thanks to the small adapter included in the package. In short, Oukitel K6000 Plus is a 360-degree battery phone, not only because it will actually return at least two days of use, but also because it will offer power to external devices.
The battery, then, becomes the real reason to buy Oukitel K6000 Plus, which still remains a usable smartphone, with good performance, if we exclude, however, the camera department. Like all Chinese in this price range, in fact, it is really difficult to pull decent photographs out of the terminal. We tested in different lighting conditions, but in no case were we able to get quality images. Colors appear washed out, even in optimal conditions, while the flash often seems to dazzle the foreground subject. Below is a photo gallery taken directly from the terminal.
Conclusions
Net of the technical features, which still allow you to exploit the entire Android ecosystem in a satisfactory way, also thanks to 4 GB of RAM that make the device fluid on many occasions, beyond a poor photographic department, Oukitel K6000 Plus has from its the battery: the 6080 mAh work, managing to cover at least two days of use. The plus is given by the possibility of transforming the terminal into a power bank to recharge external devices. Moreover, thanks to a fast recharge, it will not be too problematic to recharge the 6080 mAh it is equipped with. Whoever buys it will certainly do so for the battery.
On Amazon it costs 219.99 euros; you can buy it directly from here in different colors, or even on the official Oukitel shop. For a limited period of time, however, it will be available for only 155 euros on Gearbest and 157 euros on AliExpress.
