Pictures leaked on OPPO's next smartwatch

OPPO's first Wear OS smartwatch will receive an update on July 27, but the focus is completely on the second edition, OPPO Watch 2. Over the weekend, several renderings of the new smartwatch were leaked thanks to well-known leaker Evan Blass.

In the four images of the OPPO Watch 2 leaked by Blass, we can see a square-shaped device very similar to its predecessor in appearance. It has two buttons on the right side and the renderings depict the blue, red and black colors for the straps.

One of the leaked images of the OPPO Watch 2 shows that it will have the ability to take calls, which we also saw in the first model. A retail listing of the smartwatch on China's JD.com confirms that it will feature eSIM support in its home market but it remains to be seen whether the second-generation model will be equipped with eSIM capabilities globally.

Finally, always from the leaked images there is an Oppo Watch 2 with the map indications on the display. This suggests that the device may have built-in GPS like the first generation OPPO Watch.
