The Google Pixel 6 is expected to arrive later this year. Like every year, there are already many rumors and news leaked on the smartphone, between specifications and design. Now, according to the most recent rumors, the future top of the range will also have additional software support.
The leaker Jon Prosser has provided a rundown of what the specs might be. Pixel 6 will feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED display, 50MP main sensor with 12MP ultrawide camera, 128 / 256GB of storage, 8GB of RAM and a 4614mAh battery.
The “Pro” variant will get an increase in the display to 6.71 inches, although some rumors have speculated that this will be a 120Hz QHD + resolution, while the smaller variant will have a 120Hz FHD + resolution. The Pixel 6 “Pro” will also be equipped with an additional 48MP telephoto lens, up to 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM. The battery will also be bigger, by a whopping 5,000 mAh.
The most interesting thing is that this well-known leaker claims that the Pixel 6 will receive a full five years of Android software updates, a pretty impressive number. So far, Samsung holds the record for longest software support, with a whopping 4 years on many of its devices.
