Home CasaVerdeSmart ,,,,,In these days we have received on test a particular system to decorate your home at Christmas but not only: it is the projector by Takihoo, a decorative light for interiors and exteriors that projects different moving images on ceilings and walls, creating a dynamic and adaptable on multiple occasions thanks to the 16 different slides included in the package.
In this way you can create atmospheres for Christmas, Easter, New Year, birthday parties, Valentine's Day or more simply to put some lights and colors in your child's room, perhaps creating a cheerful ceiling to help you sleep.
As did
The projector is not very large: arm and pedestal excluded, it is about 12 centimeters long and 9 centimeters in diameter at the front, wider than the back (the diameter of the transparent area dedicated to projection is about 6 centimeters).
It is made entirely of light plastic of good quality, especially as regards the projector, well sealed by screws and with rubber gaskets in the right places to avoid water infiltrations: since it can also be installed outdoors it is a characteristic of 'obligation for a device of this type, which must therefore withstand rain and bad weather.
It is equipped with a small articulated arm that allows you to adjust the inclination and two different bases: one, a sort of 15 cm long nail to easily plant it on a lawn, the other a circular plate with the base of the diameter of 12 cm that allows you to fix it to a wall using three screws with plugs (not included in the package) or simply to place it on a wall shelf or any other shelf.
How does it work
To turn it on, simply connect the projector to the electrical socket through the power supply with Shucko plug included in the package. The light will turn on automatically starting the rotation to the default mode.
Thanks to the small remote control available, it is possible to adjust the rotation speed, possibly stopping the projection to have a fixed image. You can also make projected images flash and program the operating time, selecting between 2, 4 or 6 hours of continuous projection after which it will automatically turn off.
How is it going
The size of the projected images varies according to the distance between the projector and the wall / ceiling. For example, by placing it on our desk, about 2 meters from the ceiling, we were able to cover an area of about 3 meters x 3 meters, with quite large and very bright images already at dusk. By distancing the projector further from the wall, the images are larger but with less vivid colors, which however are clearly visible at night, for example by pointing the projector from the garden to the outside wall of the house (about 25 meters away).
The strong point of this projector is the versatility in its use guaranteed by 16 interchangeable “cartridges”. There are several that can be adapted to any situation: some are specific for the winter period (snowflakes) and for the Christmas holidays (with Santa Claus, reindeer and garlands), others for Easter (with eggs and rabbits), Valentine's Day, birthday parties and even generic ones, with cartoon-style animals to embellish for example the ceiling of a child's room, perhaps to help him fall asleep by setting a timer for automatic shutdown.
Conclusions
Takihoo's is an immediate solution to decorate a wall or ceiling in no time: thanks to the projector, installing colored and animated lights is a matter of seconds, without having to go crazy with lights and hooks to keep them stable.
Thanks to the interchangeable slides it is possible to adapt it to any occasion, decorating the house in an instant for Christmas or for a birthday party.
