A few days after the presentation of Android 12, the list of devices that will receive the beta of the new Google OS continues to grow. Today is the turn of TCL 20 Pro.
Instructions for downloading and installing Android 12 Developer Preview are available at this address.
It is worth mentioning that this is a very early version not ready for daily use. Among the known bugs we find the absence of support for the 5G network, the non-functioning of Bluetooth connectivity and the inability to set a PIN or pattern to unlock the display.
However, this is great news, enthusiastically commented by TCL CEO Aaron Zhang:
We are thrilled that TCL 20 Pro 5G took part in the Google I / O event a few days ago, highlighting our strong partnership with Google and our membership in the Developer Preview program. The Android community is very important to the TCL brand, and we know how critical this program is to enable a reliable mobile experience for our users. The PLR ensures that we explore new features and improve the stability, compatibility, connectivity of our devices and at the same time receive feedback from the developer community.
