Meta continues to move forward with her plan to bring her metaverse to life. As announced by the company, Instagram, Facebook and Messenger will receive their own 3D avatars. With them, users will be able to create Stories or use them as stickers in their direct messages with friends. These avatars, of course, represent the person, and can be used as stickers, in profile photos and on the Quest VR platform.
Aigerim Shorman, General Manager of Avatars and Meta Identity, has posted all the information on the official Facebook blog. The manager commented that users of Facebook, Instagram or Messenger who reside in the United States, Canada or Mexico can access the 3D stickers. At the moment they will be able to do it through the publications in the Feed, Facebook profile photos and more.
