Samsung has already begun to implement the August Android security patch on its Galaxy S21 series smartphones.The arrival so fast is not a surprise though, since Samsung is known to be among the smartphone companies, one of the more timely.
Unfortunately, it appears that the August security update for the Galaxy S21 series is limited to China for now. But seeing how Samsung is quickly releasing the update for its best android smartphones, it shouldn't be long before the August security patch arrives on all Galaxy S21s. Samsung is also expected to roll out the update on its older flagships, such as the Galaxy Note 20 series and Galaxy S20 series.
The next big update for the Galaxy S21 series will be One UI 3.1.1, which is likely to arrive by the end of the quarter in some markets. Furthermore, the South Korean company is preparing to release a beta version One UI 4.0 based on Android 12 also for the Galaxy S21 by the end of September or the beginning of October.
