'The Book of Boba Fett': Disney Plus reveals epic trailer on the series of the most famous bounty hunter in 'Star Wars'

As part of the various ramifications of the Star Wars universe, The Book of Boba Fett already has its first images. This trailer, presented by Disney Plus and LucasFilm, tells the story of one of the most important second-line characters in the Star Wars franchise . At the same time, it is one of the stories that has suffered the most variations in terms of production.

Although The Book of Boba Fett is currently presented as a series, the idea of making a movie was initially considered. This last intention was discarded in 2018. Since then and until now, both Disney Plus and LucasFilm have developed several projects related directly or not to the character. The clearest is The Mandalorian, released in November 2019, in which the character actively participates.

The relationship between a production is such that The Book of Boba Fett is presented as a spin-off of The Mandalorian. During the finale of the second season of the last series, a post-credit scene was revealed featuring a presentation of The Book of Boba Fett. Due to the form of the presentation, there was confusion as to whether it was a mutation of The Mandalorian or not. The person in charge of the project, Jon Favreau, clarified that it was an independent story .

The trailer for The Book of Boba Fett

Between that presentation in the final chapter of the second season of The Mandalorian and the trailer for The Book of Boba Fett, almost a year has passed. Bobba Fett's book will star someone who already gave life to the character on different occasions, Temuera Morrison. As already peeked in the initial presentation of the story, Morrison will be accompanied by the actress Ming-Na Wen . She will play Fennec Shand , who is recognized as an elite mercenary and assassin who works alongside Fett.

They are joined, from the production, Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodríguez, Kathleen Kennedy. In essence, it is the same team that has been working since The Mandalorian, something that can be understood as good news in terms of the continuity of the story and the treatment of the story. In general, giving continuity to work teams is convenient for details. Considering the success of The Mandalorian, it is logical that the expectations regarding this new production begin to grow.

This series will be released through the Disney Plus platform on December 29 of this year .
