China's e-commerce platform AliExpress will also be open to sellers from other countries, in an attempt to compete more with Amazon. AliExpress is controlled by the large Chinese e-commerce group Alibaba and is used to sell products from Chinese merchants in other countries around the world. For the time being, it will be allowed to sell on AliExpress to merchants from Russia, Spain, Italy and Turkey, but in the coming months the service should be extended to other countries as well.
