To make the dialogue with the citizen even easier, the Municipality of Treviso has decided to involve artificial intelligence, working in synergy with QuestIT for the creation of Angela .
The name is not the result of chance, but is to be recollected to Angela Del Turco , the first female municipal councilor (and councilor) of the city.
The virtual assistant is dedicated to the demographic service to support, guide and facilitate the citizen in the navigation of the Municipality site through browser automation technologies, up to the sending of the documentation to the user.
Citizens will be able to use the service from both smartphones and PCs, through a banner on the Municipality website where they can book an appointment or fix it online with a operator. The type of feedback may be updated over time based on statistical surveys on the needs and requests of citizens.
The mayor of Treviso Mario Conte underlined:
“The new virtual assistant makes it possible to streamline the load of counter activities and implement the efficiency and speed of handling cases. This solution available to the PA represents an important step forward for the digital transformation of the city of Treviso from the perspective of the dematerialization of processes. This tool, which in its declinations on mobile devices or e-commerce sites is facilitating use even for older citizens, in this version developed for the Municipality of Treviso will give a great help in terms of efficiency and possibility to reach the requested service with a simple message “.
A second phase of the project will see an integration to enhance all other services such as urban planning, URP, culture and tourism, tax office and much more.
