We have been waiting for a smartwatch from Google for some time. Said device, designed by those from Mountain View, was expected for this 2022, according to some reports that emerged at the end of last year. Now, however, the date could have been revealed, and not only does it look pretty promising; it is also quite specific.
The May 26, 2022 would be the date chosen by Google to launch its Pixel Watch, with which the company's smart watch is known in various media . It has been Jon Prosser who has shared the information on his Twitter account. Prosser has multiple successes when it comes to future Google products, and already in November he let us see the first official image of the Samsung Galaxy S22.
Jon Prosser warns that the Mountain Viewers are notorious for pushing dates back, so nothing is certain so far. The term, on the other hand, seems to be rather more specific than usual; and coincides with the time when the company's developer conference, Google I/O, is usually held.
I heard that Google is planning to launch it on Thursday May 26, more than a year since we leaked it.

It will also have a higher screen percentage, thanks to the reduced bezels that the company has prepared for its device. Finally, Google is expected to use the full resources of Fitbit, which it closed its acquisition last year, to turn its Pixel Watch into the definitive competitor to the Apple Watch.
Some reports assure that the Google Pixel 6a, the cheapest version of the new Google range, would be also presented in May. The latter seems to indicate that both the Pixel 6a and the Pixel Watch could be presented at the same time. Regarding the reliability of the report, it only remains to wait for Google's movements and see the outcome of this story.
