The new iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro were presented on Tuesday 10 September by Apple, during an event organized at Apple Park, the campus recently built by the company in Cupertino, California (United States). In addition to smartphones, Apple unveiled a new edition of its Apple Watches, a new iPad, and provided some more information on its new Arcade and Apple TV + subscription services. No new product has thrilled observers and experts that much, struck above all by Apple's decision to revise some prices, a sign that last year the company had gone too far with some consequences on the overall level of sales.

The iPhones 11 are aesthetically very similar to last year's XRs, but they have a new dual camera system and a more powerful processor. Their starting price is € 839, while the iPhone XR now needs € 739, € 150 less than the asking price just a year ago. The difference is significant and constitutes one of the largest reductions ever decided by Apple for its own product that has recently been on sale.
As the name suggests, the iPhone 11 Pro are for those who want all the latest technology from Apple, starting with a three-lens camera system. The new iPhone 11 Pro replace the iPhone XS presented just a year ago, and maintain the same price as last year: 1,189 euros for the base model. The iPhone 11 Pro Max have a slightly larger screen and their price starts at 1,289 euros.
Apple also unveiled the Apple Watch Series 5, the latest version of its smartwatch with a new low-power screen, which allows you to always keep the watch face active. The starting price is quite high, 559 euros, and also for this reason Apple has decided to keep the Series 3 model on sale, cheaper and which has achieved good success so far: the price goes from 309 to 239 euros for the basic model.
During the presentation, Apple also provided new information about its upcoming subscription services. Arcade will have 100 video games in the catalog and new titles that will be added every month: it will cost € 4.99 per month and will be available at the end of September. Apple TV + to watch series and films produced by Apple, as well as other content, will be available from November 1st at a price of 4.99 euros per month. Many analysts expected a price of around 10 euros, which is still considered excessive for a service that for now offers less original content than Netflix. The chosen price should attract more users, at least in the initial phase when the catalog will not be very rich.
