Lamborghini will present its SSUV (Super Sport Utility Vehicle) Urus on Monday 4 December. The SSUV is a segment specifically introduced by the Emilian company for this model which has been talked about for some years and which has finally arrived in production. The Urus prototype was presented at the Beijing Motor Show in 2012 and has since gathered intense curiosity and expectations among car enthusiasts and professionals. The “Urus World Premiere” will be held at the company's headquarters – which has belonged to the Volkswagen group since 1998 – from 6pm on Monday, and the event will be streamed worldwide on the Lamborghini website and on the Post.
Urus has an illustrious and unique precedent of SUV in Lamborghini, namely the LM002, produced between 1986 and 1993 in 301 units.
Lamborghini has anticipated some technical information on the Urus, which will have the driving mode management system – “SOUL” – thanks to which the driver can choose six different ones: Sand, Road, Sport, Corsa, Terra and Snow. The “Rhombus of Urus”, or the sound of the exhausts, is the result of Automobili Lamborghini's new cutting-edge acoustic chamber and is one of Lamborghini's most perceptible emotional experiences. Urus will be produced in the Lamborghini plant in Sant'Agata Bolognese, which will host the Urus World Premiere on Monday at 6pm.
