Trello , the well-known platform for project management that is also and above all compatible with teamwork, has just received what has been called its most important update , to start the new decade in the best possible way. Let's go and see together all the news .
Trello now offers different viewing modes of the Boards :
- Timeline , for view the various activities in the temporal context. Particularly useful if you work mainly according to deadlines.
- Table , to view the activities reported in a spreadsheet.
- Calendar , for view activities on the Trello calendar.
- Dashboard , the mode that automatically generates graphs and statistics based on the activities carried out and those in progress.
- Map , to view the activities in a geographical context .
Even the various boards on Trello are now divided into various types , which are better suited to the specific needs of users:
- Link Card , which are able to to automatically generate previews of websites related to the inserted link. This generation is compatible with YouTube, Instagram, Dropbox, Stripe, Salesforce, InVision, Google Drive and other platforms.
- Board Card , which automatically recognizes the connection with other boards or sections of Trello. Also in this case the generation of the preview takes place after the insertion of the link relative to the board to be connected.
- Mirror Card , the one useful for cloning the Card present in another Board. This form will be useful for teams made up of various groups and who need to stay updated on specific points in common in the project. The news should arrive in the coming months, therefore it is currently not available.
The image below shows Trello's new navigation sidebar . This will facilitate orientation through the contents of the Notice Board. The novelty should already be being distributed.
To emphasize the importance of the update, updates to the interface and to the graphics have also been implemented in Trello: the logo , the illustrations and some animations have been renewed.
The structural innovations of Trello are currently in the automatic distribution phase , it will probably take a few hours or a few days for you to see them. It is good to consider that most of them are reserved for users who are part of team subscribers to Business Class .
