Utorch, as the name suggests, is a small torch, or rather a lamp, which changes color depending on the touch, and which runs on battery. After charging it with the supplied MicroUSB cable it will work for about 8 hours without any wire. In the sales package there is only the light bulb and the MicroUSB cable, all that is needed for immediate operation.
It has very small dimensions, equal to 10.70 x 10.70 x 11.20 cm approximately. It fits in the palm of your hand, and the weight is also really negligible, about 150 grams. It can therefore be placed on any desk, or even a small bedside table, perhaps next to the bed. It does not have precious materials, but it certainly has a minimal and rather elegant design, which marries a modern environment.
Operation is as simple as it is effective. First of all it turns on and off via a small button positioned on the bottom. Just click it to activate the lamp, which in any case will remain off until the user touches it. With a decisive touch of the palm of the hand on the upper part, the lamp will light up, and with the following touches the color pattern will be chosen. There are 7 colors available, although various choreographies that the lamp manages to return. There is no smartphone app support, but it is an absolutely inexpensive lamp, which can be managed by the color with a touch of the hand.
Utorch, with each touch, will return different colors of light: let it be clear, it does not illuminate an entire room, but returns a colored light point, which serves to create a bit of atmosphere. With a double tap on the top it turns it off, and with a subsequent touch it turns it back on. By maintaining, however, the pressure of the palm of the hand on the upper part, the intensity of the light can be “dimmed”. It has a light output of 400 lumens, with color temperatures or wavelengths of 3000K / 625nm / 520nm / 456nm. 
Utorch is a really cheap gadget for the home, it costs just 10 euros. Yet, in the dark, it manages to restore a small corner full of atmosphere. Relax and color the house, especially during the day. An idea that we liked and that costs very little.
