That was the push that got us looking into the VACU Vacuum Cleaner, which has now become our best friend, not just for the desk.
A vacuum cleaner on Macitynet?
Ever since we prepared the smart working station two years ago, with microphone, speakers, KVM switches, displays and much more, we understood that the maintenance of the station in general was worth as much as the design and preparation.
Often the dust accumulates on the electronic equipment as if it were a curse, and in the summer that you keep the windows open for longer, it comes into practice of everything.
Comfortable shape and perfect handle to reach most corners, also thanks to the accessories: VACU Vacuum cleaner has a very nice and effective design Those who, like us, have also chosen to live with a dog, find themselves facing even tougher challenges, because they shed their hair all year round and the narrow slits on the desk are really uncomfortable to clean with traditional methods.
For this reason we did not miss the opportunity to have in our hands a small, comfortable vacuum cleaner, with USB-C charging and also of design, which when not in use can be in plain sight without having to hide in the closet.
Thanks to the interesting use of accessories, VACU Vacuum Cleaner is convenient for vacuuming or blowing into computer equipment, often difficult with more traditional vacuum cleaners
Out of the box
Once the box is opened, which is well-finished, the basic pieces are placed, from the real vacuum cleaner to all the accessories, but it was the colored “Thank you” sign that struck us, a caress to the consumer (a little 'of Razerian memory) who like it and make it clear that the project is followed with care and careful organization, an impression that is however covered by the relationships we have had with the management, always ready to support us (absolutely not a foregone conclusion).
VACU Vacuum cleaner has the shape of a large bullet, about 27.5 centimeters high and less than 7 centimeters wide (for 560 grams of net weight), with slightly satin-finished plastic materials in the gray part and shiny in the red part.
The product uses a suction mouth, protected by a plastic cap and an air outlet hole in the back: the interesting aspect that both holes can be used productively, therefore both for sucking up dirt ( dust, cobwebs, crumbs, hairs, lumps of dirt) than to spray air, where the vacuum cleaner would not be effective.
In addition to the vacuum cleaner itself, the package contains the power cable (USB-A / USB-C, but if you have other accessories you can reuse the cable), a flexible hose, a brush and two mouthpieces for the aspiration.
In the back of the vacuum cleaner, just within reach of your thumb, there are both the ignition button and three LEDs that indicate the charge.
The shape offers an interesting design, which makes you look but at the same time does not disdain to be carried in the backpack: we see this function particularly intriguing for those who work in the IT sector and have to do with computer repair (in particular Tower models) to vacuum dust, or in server rooms, where spaces are usually cramped and it is difficult to clean the cabinets with more traditional products.

How it works
Operation is simple: once the cap is removed and switched on, the VACU Vacuum cleaner starts the motor and sucks in the air from the front mouth to shoot it from the rear hole.
The dirt from the suction is collected inside the mouthpiece, which can be cleaned simply by unscrewing the head, where the filter is also inside. The only attention is towards water, with which this appliance is not compatible.
The operation as mentioned is in two parts, as a suction or as a small compressor for the air: in this second case the compressor is not very strong, but it is sufficient for the dust and small impurities that are deposited in the computers.
Convenient at home, but also when you go out, especially for those who have to work in the company or by customers: it fits in the backpack and can really solve many problems The grip is firm and very comfortable, and allows you to reach usually narrow parts, especially due to the fact of not having a power cable to get in the way.
The accessories are quite useful for specific tasks, and stop in the handy bag / binder included: the first defect, if we want to call it that, is the cylindrical shape of the vacuum cleaner, which, if placed on its side, tends to roll on surfaces that are not perfectly flat. (and the cap to put it vertically is not always at hand). Perhaps a slightly elliptical shape would have been preferable.
It is not even silent, because it makes the same noise as the most powerful vacuum cleaners, but this is a limited symptom, as it is not used every day.
Once the filler has been removed, it can be emptied easily The included battery takes about 20-25 minutes of use and takes 3 hours to fully recharge, very much for such a small product but probably the high energy demand of the compressor can't do otherwise.
We have often used it to clean the desk, making the most of the accessories (living and working near a square in the city, the dust accumulates quickly if you leave the window open) such as passing the display with the brush all days, but we appreciated the convenience of using it on the fly to clean the house of dog hair when we needed it, as well as in the car (parked in the street and unreachable by a classic vacuum cleaner).
The compressor was useful for eradicating some dust “spiders” behind the furniture, then vacuumed in the traditional way when no longer enclosed while with the Long Nozzle accessory we cleaned up the NAS in the living room, which really needed it.
Considerations
VACU Vacuum cleaner is an accessory that, even without Bluetooth or Wi-Fi or an App for control (but in some respects it would not have been bad), proves to be formidable for those who work in smart working and want to keep their desk clean, with all the accessories, as well as those who often find themselves working with non-brand new computers, often full of dust that is difficult to dispose of.
The design is very intriguing and, as mentioned, you can watch it, and the power is correct for use, although we hope there will be improvements in terms of autonomy in the future.
The product is very good, the standard price (net of discounts) is a bit high, even seasoned with all the accessories, but we can say that it is a product that is worth buying.
The market is full of competing products, but few, if any, have the same interesting smart features.
