Microsoft can certainly be happy with its Edge : according to Statcounter , the browser from the Redmond company reached 8.03% of the market in March 2021.
This is certainly an important milestone for Microsoft, but even more important is the fact of having overtaken Firefox in the “ranking” of the most used browsers : Mozilla's software is in fact stopped 7.97% of the market. Edge now points to second place , currently occupied by Safari : the Apple browser is in fact used by 10.13% of users .
The work done by Microsoft to improve and add functions to Edge has therefore paid off: the peak, however, obviously occupied by Google Chrome , currently at 67.09% ), it is still very difficult to reach .
