The integration works on WhatsApp of the digital wallet of Novi have started, useful for giving users the opportunity to send and receive money in a safe and immediate way directly in your own chat of the messaging service.
The latest news on the case was provided to us by Will Cathcart , CEO of WhatsApp, who shared on Twitter a post previously published by Stephane Kasriel , CEO of Novi.
The feature is now the subject of a very first test in the United States, limited to a small number of users. A small test window has also been granted for Guatemala, where the pilot program, despite not being available in the WhatsApp app, can instead be tested through the autonomous one of Novi.
This new introduction will not change anything in the experience: privacy will always be respected, leaving chats and calls still encrypted end-to-end .
As already specified, the test is available for some users in the United States, and Guatamala, who own both Android and iOS devices.
