WhatsApp currently offers three visibility options for “Last Accessed”, “Profile Picture” and “Information” status. The service allows you to make them visible to all users who have your phone number, hide them from all users, or make them visible only to users in their contact list.
Now according to the latest rumors, WhatsApp is working on a new visibility option that will allow you to hide the last access, profile picture, and information from specific contacts. As visible from the screenshot, the new option will appear next to the existing options and not only for the Last login but as stated by WABetaInfo also for the profile picture and for “Information”.
At the moment, the new option is not available in the current beta version of WhatsApp, but it is expected to arrive for both operating systems soon.
