There are interesting news for YouTube, the popular multimedia streaming service from Google, which concern both its desktop versions and those for smartphones and tablets.

YouTube is in fact receiving a new way to view content that tells users what the segments of the most popular videos , i.e. those segments that have accumulated the most playing time compared to the rest of the video.
In addition to this, YouTube is also planning to introduce a new search mode within the videos, which provides the possibility of directly select the scene you are interested in via a lower bar. You have an example in the animation that you find in the gallery.
The first news related to the most popular segments should already be in the distribution phase , in the early days you could see it only on selected videos. The latter is still under development but should arrive soon .
