Home iPhonia iPhone Accessories ,,,,,In the (increasingly crowded) world of wireless chargers, Zens Fast Wireless Charger stands out for a rather original feature: the modularity of the stand allows it to work both horizontally and (almost) vertically.
Compared to other chargers, therefore, it offers a double advantage: that of adapting to the needs of the user, which are increasingly complex every day. We have been experimenting with it for a few days.
Zens Fast Wireless Charger, the review
Soft anonymity
Out of the box, quite minimal, the Zens Fast Wireless Charger looks like a fairly nondescript charger: the construction is in soft plastic that is pleasant to the touch, light but stable on the table.
When closed, the only peculiarity is the small connector for the power supply on one side, for the rest the Black color rages so much that the Zens logo is not even shown (if not in the lower part, in the label together with the writings for security).
Once connected to a wall socket (via the external power supply), everything is ready for use: placed on an iPhone 8, operation is indicated by a small blue LED (and by the smartphone display, of course, showing the charge).
The charge level is 15W, a considerable amount were it not that our iPhone 8 under test can absorb a maximum amount of charge of 7.5W (limit imposed by Apple, which among other things is lowered when the level rises above the 75%). Other Android smartphones, such as the Galaxy S9, are able to absorb more power.
During use, the Zens Fast Wireless Charger behaved very well: despite having no fans, it never got too hot and, on the contrary, it showed an interesting precision in recognizing the smartphone even with small movements, making it less picky than many more competitors. blazoned.

Two in one
But as we said at the beginning, the most interesting thing in this model is undoubtedly the ability to “stand up”, literally, and offer an (almost) vertical position.
The movement is done simply by moving the two overlapping parts and in a couple of seconds the new position is ready: even in this way it was precise and even by moving the iPhone slightly it did not lose its charge.
In a vertical position it is in our opinion more interesting, because it allows you to take advantage of the iPhone for a quick view when there is a call or when you receive messages: then there is the use with the iPhone on, perhaps to watch the games on DAZN even if in this case the battery life suffers.
Fast charging works quite well: we have reported below a glimpse of the surveys carried out, which tell of an iPhone 8 recharged by half in less than two hours and totally in about three and a half hours, values that substantially adapt to the competition, although we recall in this field the data are subject to strong variations due to a very high number of external factors.
Considerations
We liked the Zens Fast Wireless Charger very much, both for the discretion of the shape, and in some environments such as the office it can be convenient for the convenience of the two positions (especially the second) that offer an interesting use even during charging.
But what we liked the most was the fact that the charging plate does not suffer from position like other chargers, which this writer considers as important as charging speed.
Pros: • Very comfortable, does not suffer from the change of position • Double soul , horizontal and vertical
Cons: • With iPhone 8 and X you cannot exploit the maximum power charging
Price: 59.99 Euro
