During March Amazon Prime Video shared the first trailer, which showed that they will increase the dose of violence and, in addition, they will introduce a good number of supes. The latter, precisely, star in the new production poster.
In the image shared by Prime Video we can see several members of Payback, a new group of supes whose intervention will be fundamental during season 3. Among its members, they stand out, above all, Soldier Boy and Crimson Countess, who will be played by Jensen Ackles (Supernatural) and Laurie Holden (The Walking Dead), respectively.
Other characters that also appear on The Boys poster are Blue Hawk (Nick Wechsler), Gunpowder (Sean Patrick Flanery), brothers Tessa and Tommy (Kristin Booth and Jack Doolan), Airburst, Mindstorm (Ryan Blakely) and an old acquaintance. of The Seven: Black Noir (Nathan Mitchell).
In The Boys comics, Payback is the second most important group of superheroes only behind The Seven. A curious fact is that Stromfront, whom we saw in the second season, is part of Payback. However, those responsible for the series took the creative liberty of altering her plot to include her as a temporary member of The Seven. Mind you, he had a fatal fate in the season 2 finale.
The poster promotes a fictional movie starring Payback. Does it sound familiar to you? Yes, The Seven will also have their own film: Dawn Of The Seven -an obvious parody of Zack Snyder-.
